Venice?

No not Venice, but the Venetian Casino in Macau, which we visited for an afternoon/evening.

This is the 1st of a couple of posts from Macau that we will make, as it was a pretty cool place. Only 1 hour from Hong Kong by Turbojet, it is a favourite for not only tourists, but serious Chinese gamblers, who make the journey from the mainland where gambling is illegal.

The photos in this post are all from The Venetian Casino, which is apparently an exact replica of the one in Las Vegas including a waterway with gondalas on the 2nd floor.

The last photo is the view you get as you come down the escalator into the casino floor.
