Saigon aka Ho Chi Minh City 2

Carrying on the tour we visited the largest wholesale market in South Vietnam with over 20,000 stalls, The Colonial Quarter/Downtown and finally The War Remnants Museum. The Museum tells the story of the American Vietnam War in gory photographic detail, obviously from a Vietnamese perspective, which was very sombre. We did, however, get to have a photo taken next to a cool tank and plane!
It has to be said that this was the first mention of the American Vietnam War that we'd encountered our whole time in Vietnam. Even though it happened only 30yrs ago and you still see a few victims begging in the streets, the Vietnamese do not seem to harbour any grudges and our a very friendly nation from our experience.
